Ari Lahti is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of ICECAPITAL Securities Ltd. Prior to ICECAPITAL Mr. Lahti acted as Managing Director of Mandatum Stockbrokers (1998-1999) and Protos Stockbrokers (1992-1998). Mr. Lahti started his career as an economist at the Bank of Finland (1985-1988) and the Finnish Bankers´ Association (1988-1990) and as Head of Research in Protos Stockbrokers (1990-1992).

Mr. Lahti has acted as main financial advisor in several mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance deals and capital market transactions. He has extensive experience in advisory work concerning the Nordic Energy and Infrastructure Markets. Mr. Lahti also has an extensive contact network to the decision makers in Finland.

Mr. Lahti has also acted as a Non-Executive Director in several companies and associations, for example the Helsinki Stock Exchange, the Finnish Football League, Wulff Group Ltd and Veikkaus Oy (a state-owned lottery company). Currently Mr. Lahti is President of the Finnish Football Association and Chairman of the Board of Scandinavian Tailor Group Oy.

Marko Luoma is a founding partner of ICECAPITAL Securities Ltd. Mr. Luoma works as a Director of Investment Banking and is specialized in advisory work within telecommunications and media as well as finance arrangements and capital market transactions.

Mr. Luoma started his career as analyst at Protos Stockbrokers (1994-1998). At Protos he specialized in media, telecommunications and energy sectors and participated actively in the development of the company’s asset management and financial advisory business. Mr. Luoma has also worked as analyst at Mandatum Stockbrokers (1998-1999). Mr. Luoma is a Msc (Econ.) from Helsinki School of Economics, with a major in finance.

Kimmo Kottila joined ICECAPITAL in December 1999 as a partner. Prior to joining ICECAPITAL, Mr. Kottila was employed by Fieldstone Private Capital Group, an US investment bank in London specializing in energy and utilities sector related financial advisory. Prior to Fieldstone, Mr. Kottila was employed by Fortum Oyj, the Finnish energy utility. He holds extensive utilities sector knowledge and experience not only from the Nordic market, but also in Western Europe and has extensive experience on M&A and private equity transactions.

Pasi Sulkanen joined ICECAPITAL in October 2004.

Prior to joining ICECAPITAL Mr. Sulkanen worked as a partner in High Tech M&A boutique Enabla Ltd.(2000-2004). Mr. Sulkanen’s previous employers include eg. Sonera and Unisys (London).

Daniel Robberts joined ICECAPITAL in September 2018 as partner and head of the Stockholm office. Before joining ICECAPITAL, Mr. Robberts has been active in the Nordic and European corporate finance market since early 2000s, having held various positions with institutions such as SEB, Macquarie, ABN AMRO Alfred Berg and UBS. Mr. Robberts holds extensive energy and infrastructure sector knowledge and experience not only from the Nordic market, but also in Europe and has extensive experience on M&A, debt raising and private equity transactions.
