In spring 2006, ICECAPITAL established Finland’s first closed-end real estate fund investing in residential properties, in partnership with four Finnish institutional investors. The fund became fully invested in 2009 with total capital of EUR 200 million.  Locations are mainly at premium A-area in the Helsinki metropolitan area and in the Tampere, Turku, Jyväskylä, Oulu and Kuopio regions.

Saint Petersburg Residental Fund I LP

ICECAPITAL’s private equity fund business went international in 2007 with the establishment of the ICECAPITAL Saint Petersburg Residential Fund I, in partnership with three Finnish institutional investors. The fund became fully invested in 2009 with total capital of EUR 45 million. The fund invested its assets in residential properties mainly at economical B-area in St Petersburg by purchasing 276 flats from the building completed in the end of 2009.
